Despite soaring mercury and unbearable humidty in the state, drivers who love to challenge their machines and themselves are back behind the wheels to sweat it out in the heat and dust of the Indian East coast in the “TMILL EMSA EAST COAST WILD RUN 2013”. The ceremonial flag off was performed by the very beautiful Tollywood actresses June Maliah and Sayani Dutta.
Recently Mr.Perfectionist Aamir Khan thanked everyone including his fans and family on completion of his 25 years in Indian Cinema. The actor also expressed his views on Indian Cinema which also celebrates it's 100 years.
The Tollywood Indian Kolkata Bengali movie industry has always ridden high with crime mystery genre movies, especially with cinematic adaptations of iconic sleuths like Feluda, Kakababu and Byomkesh Bakshi. It is rightly said that Bengali literature has some of the best detectives in the world. Another such well-known detective is going to hit the big screen in the form of Arjun, the highly popular sleuth and an immortal character created by writer Samaresh Majumdar.
With a police van chasing him, Vijay (Abhishek Chatterjee) runs for his life. The cops are after him for the murder of Satyabrata Ray, an influential MLA. The supporters of the slain MLA are also hot in pursuit to avenge murder. Vijay takes shelter in the home of a retired school teacher Amulya Ghosh. Amulya Ghosh lives in the house with his only daughter Anu (Mumtaz Sorcar). Vijay gains shelter in the house only after threatening the innocent teacher.
A party sequence with the main characters of the film ‘Akorshon’ was shot at Narayani Studios. The song playing in the background was “Prane bhoy, mone bhoy”. Rupam Islam, Rituparna Sengupta, Samadarshi Dutta, Ferdous and Bhaskar Chatterjee were busy playing their parts until the director finally declared the shot to be a good one.
Director Debraj Sinha told this correspondent , “This is a party sequence going on. The lead characters in the film work in a company and they thought of throwing a party with a Bengali band playing the music. Hence Rupam Islam was present at the shoot of this song along with the other actors”.

heartthrob Dev gained another name among fans after the release of
blockbuster film ‘Sedin Dekha Hoyechilo’. The name ‘Khoka Babu’ got
tagged to him as the song ‘Khoka babu jai, Lal juto Pai’ from the film
became immensely popular. The popularity of the song was such that
another Dev starrer film was named ‘Khokababu’ and Dev’s second name got
permanent, in the same way as Khiladi for Akhsay Kumar or Baadsah for
Shah Rukh Khan. Yet another movie starring the heartthrob is ready to be
released which is using the popularity of the name. The Indian Kolkata
Bangla movie is director Rajib Biswas' next venture and has been titled
as ‘Khoka 420’.

Let me also clarify, Shootout At Wadala is no ways any sequel to Shootout At Lokhandwala (2007) which was produced by Sanjay Gupta and Ekta Kapoor. This one is a fresh film with a fresh plot. The only common relative factor here is the notorious gangster Dawood Ibrahim Kaskar (Name changed to 'Dilawar Imtiyaz Haskar').

The cultural evening saw the performance of children aged between three to twelve years. The proceeds of the evening will be handed over to Prayas which is a charitable organization. Helping Sidpta’s in this noble effort is “Ritu Ranga Rash”. The focus of the evening was on children as is evident from the slogan “We are the world, we are the children”. Sk. Nurul Haque was the guest of honor at this cultural evening.
